**The new Black Ice CD, “ Movin’ On” is available now! This CD has something for everyone. Besides the poignant title track, Movin’ On,’ there is a haunting new version of “ The Miner”, a great waltz medley, a country tune ‘Till A Tear Becomes a Rose’, and of course a smattering of great Newfoundland tunes, ‘Saltwater Joys’ and ‘The Rose in Her Hair’. In honour of Come Home Year we’ve included ‘Comin’ Home’ and the theme song ‘ It’s Sure Good to See You Again’- plus more… The band will hold their official launch party at the Parish Hall on Aug. 3. Admission is just $5 single and the bar will be open. For that one night only “ Movin’ On” will be available for just $10. Black Ice invites one and all to a party/concert/dance – wherever the night takes us and whatever you want to do! The evening will begin with the very entertaining Mardi Gras skit “ Live at Harry’s” – a half hour radio broadcast from Harry Edwards’ restaurant sometime in the mid – 1960’s.
